TRAINING INFORMATION
SPOTTER TRAINING:
Elite training will be on Tuesday April 10th at 6PM. Requirement, you had to take the Basic Weather Training on Tuesday March 13th at 6PM.
This class will be held at Brescia University science building lecture hall at 717 Frederica Street. Same place as last year. This is regional training, not limited to Daviess County residents.
The basic class had new material and was interesting even for those who had been to previous basic classes. The Elite training is designed for those that have had the basic class but no one will be turned away. If you are interested in severe weather, even if you do not want to be a spotter, you will get a lot out of these courses.
There is no charge for this training and pre-registration is not required.
Anyone wishing to obtain training in the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), classes will be the 3rd Thursday of each month from Jan through Oct. To see the CERT class descriptions, see our CERT page. (Classes are free)
